Quality wraps use cast vinyl from manufacturers like 3M and Avery Dennison, with a protective overlaminate on printed graphics. Cast film is made to conform to curves without pulling back, and the laminate is what stands between your print and the UV. Cheaper calendered films are fine for flat, short-term signage, but they shrink and fade faster on a vehicle in the desert.
Horizontal surfaces go first
The hood, roof and trunk lid face the sun all day. Those panels fade and wear before the sides do. That is one reason some customers choose a partial wrap or pick a lighter film for the roof.
Color and finish play a part
Dark colors absorb more heat. Some specialty finishes like chrome and color shift films are more delicate than standard gloss or satin. We will tell you what to expect for the film you choose before you commit.
Where it lives
A vehicle that sleeps in a garage or under cover will keep its wrap looking new much longer than one parked in an open lot in July. If your fleet parks outside, plan for that when you choose materials.

- Clean off bird droppings, bugs and fuel spills quickly.
