A great wrap starts before the vehicle reaches our bay in Tempe. Here is how to set your install up for success.
1. Check the paint
Vinyl sticks to the surface underneath it. Peeling clear coat, rust or a poor respray can lift when a wrap is removed later. Point out any problem areas so we can plan for them.
2. Skip the wax and ceramic spray
Waxes, sealants and ceramic sprays can keep film from bonding. If something has been applied recently, tell us. We do a full prep clean either way.
3. Remove what you can
Clear out the bed, cargo area and any loose items. Let us know about racks, toolboxes, light bars or ladders that need to come off.
4. Send your files early
Logos as vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF), the exact text you want, license and ROC numbers, and photos of all four sides. If you have an AI concept, send that too.
5. Approve the proof carefully
Check every phone number, website and license number on the proof. It is much easier to fix a digit before printing than after.
6. Plan your first week
Give the film time to settle. Avoid pressure washing and car washes for the first several days. We will give you care instructions when you pick up.
